A new mandate for 2025

Hi horny readers! Thank you so, so much for reading the ADULT SEX ED newsletter. Wow! In the past few weeks, I’ve welcomed hundreds of new subscribers. Since so many of you are new here, I figured we could use this week’s newsletter as an introduction (or re-introduction for those of you who have been here from the start).
This newsletter is almost two years old, but ADULT SEX ED actually started as a live comedy show in 2018. Over that time, I’ve personally changed a lot and so has this brand. Here’s the mandate for 2025:
Adult Sex Ed is a newsletter that explores why we think what we think about sex. Each week, we jump down the rabbit hole to explore limiting beliefs, myths, misconceptions, conspiracy theories, and quacks. It’s investigative. It’s comedy. It’s historical, but surprisingly relevant.
I’m Dani Faith Leonard, a filmmaker, comedy writer, and performer. I love investigating little-known history in order to explain our current social issues. I also love projects that bring people together. I have over a decade of experience developing and producing feature films and series, and I’ve also produced and creative directed over 100 live productions. In addition to ADULT SEX ED, I’m currently directing a documentary on a different topic with a similar goal—to explore the past in order to understand the present. This all sounds really serious, but it’s also thrilling, wacky, and fun.
